Hi, I have just bought my first Rev. It is a 1.5 SLE, not the latest designs but bought new and still sealed. Having set it up I found an imperfection in the bridle, which I am concerned will be a weak point. I have attached photos of the problem.

Is this likely to cause a problem, as I say, maybe a weak point which could snap?

I live in France, and bought the rev mail order from the UK as there are no local dealers. It was the last one in stock from the shop I ordered from, they don't do other parts either, so do not have a replacement bridle.

send me a private email with your postal address and I'll forward a new one for free. I don't use the stock bridle and have a couple of them laying around for just this set of circumstances.

Your photo shows the line is frayed, it will fail, we just don't know when or under what conditions. I wouldn't want it patched either!

Kent, RevFlyer has introduced and taught more of us than you can imagine - He can't remember!! He decoded revs for me in 2003 and look where that got me :sign_kitelife: :blue-music: :w00t: :w00t:
