Is there anyone flying a Rev near Henley-on-Thames UK.
I have just got a 1.5 SLE, I have watched the videos, and I need to have a go now.
I am aware that people fly kites at Pinkneys Green, Ashenbury Park, Bulmershe, and Maidensgrove. I just wondered if there was a "Rev hotspot" nearby

I went over to Dunstable at the weekend (nowhere near Henley).
Even though there was very little wind, there were a few Rev fliers including 4 from the Flying Squad, and 3 others who I had a chat with. They told me their names, and I promptly forgot them (humble apologies) but one was a postman.
Anyway, you know who you are, and you were very helpfull in setting my kite up, and giving me some very useful pointers.
Just wanted to say thank you.

I think I am the postman you remember talking to, and the two guys with me were Jason and Graham ( not forum registered0.

The Flying Squad present were Stephen & Susan Hoath, Gary and Gee.

Sorry we didn't stop for a chat. We were working on the new routine and were in a groove and didn't notice the time flying by. Still, the Rev looked great and if you flew in that wind you were doing well.

Bob is a great coach so you were in good hands.

I did look over your way a few times, but each time I could see that you were all very busy. However, I did feel welcome especialy when one of the young'uns came round with Susans cupcakes.
Hopefully we'll meet next time I am over at Dunstable.

I am new as well and I also try to get to Dunstable Downs on Sunday mornings meeting up with Bob, Jason and Graham, when you next come up just look, listen and learn, not forgetting to fly!

Bob has been trying to teach me some basic moves, now I need to practice, (Thanks for the loan of the lines and long handles Bob!)
