Ben,

Barb & I will have to bring some good weather with us Friday to keep up Dr Moody's spirits. Believe me, Pennsylvania has had enough of this also. I really need some good Rev'n time with friends.

See you soon Ben Posted Image

That was fun, seeing everyone. 30 minutes on the line with 8 kites and John calling was a blast. But it did remind me obe rehearsing in a rock band as a teenager-everyone noodling around between songs.

It was SUCH a blast to see and spend time with Everyone again! It was wonderful to meet TK and Ahofer! It was so neat to see Antman get back in his element again! :) I'm currently sorting through a bazillion photos to find the best ones to share with you all! I know that I am biased, but I really do believe that our Rev Family has the best time at these events. :ani_punk:

It is always a pleasure to makeup the quad-lined stuff, silly comps, games, etc and then share it with the Rev family & friends Ben,
your involvement was almost as beneficial as Dr. Moody's THANK YOU sir!

Barbara's work (on the crowd's comments afterwards and our initial slow-down areas of personnel management and scoring) will make it better the next time we do it too.

Did you like the fast response of the quarter-turn score sheet? I found it immensely entertaining watching the judges fold up the little piece of paper different ways and sharing their scores with us.

We need the same caller for both pair teams in one heat (that is the only fair option)
and more predetermined calls (like pez down right side from the top and then inverted side slide across the window to left edge for a roll-over landing) which the judges can understand

We need a somewhat extensive introduction (demo ~ or sample) before single elimination takes place.

An even numbers of participants is completely unreasonable, but worthy objective

Another game variation might be to have 2 people on ONE kite,
each holding one of the two handles only,
then try to fly the precision figures with the judging done by spectators

So glad that you're enjoying the pics! I'm always happy to get some good shots when the weather looks up or the field is being used for something else. :) Plus I feel a need to document as well...

For those of you who have been attending the Wildwood Convention in May over the years, there is an interesting bit of news that just came out about the former Rio site:

Carolyn,

Great shots! That one of the Wildwood sign is dramatic! I also love the weave against the clouds. You have an eye for the dramatic compositions.

You are shaming me to get to work on my shots & videos. I hope to have time this weekend to get to them.
