Polo Vented Vs Xtra Vent

I was just wondering when looking at the Polo 1.5 Vented, that it seems to have a lot of venting in it, but couldn't really see on their site the sort of wind range it flies in

I would love an Xtra Vent, but money won't run to one of them anytime soon, so wondered how whether the Polo vented would compliment my current bag
I currently have a SUL, B series Full sail; Mid vent, and Full vent (as well as a SLE)
I would also need to talk the misses round, but hey, ya gotta try :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

My thoughts

Send Polo a mail and ask the windrange.
The xtra vented is on my wish list too. Due to strong winds on the Dutch coast. The Xtra as I understood sofar is enforced, I wonder if the Polo is.
So that might be another question.

What I think he's referring to, is the wear strips on the back of the sail!! Bazzer uses a kind of tape that is used for the numbers on sails for sailboats to reinforce the area that the rods touch!!Posted Image

Polo lists the wind range as 3-7 Beaufort - That's about 6-38mph according to the scale!!

I have a printed (unvented) Revopolo and it is a lovely piece of work - to both look at and, more imprtantly, fly.

I am seriously tempted by a (full) vented Revopolo as they look so cool! But 290 euros is a bit much for me at the moment.

I'd love to see a review of this against the "standard" xtra-vent.
