Hi

Does anyone tryed to fly the Rev. Extra Vented with Race Rods. And it is worth doing that instead of the 3 Wraps that is standard for the kite.

Looking forward to an answer
Best regards

I found this info on the Revolution main website:

http://www.revkites.com/main/Xtra_Vent

They actually list the specs using a Race frame! 10-16 mph for the Race frame, 3 wrap frame handles the 14-30 mph range.

I flew my xtra vent (for the first time) with standard race rods in 21 - 25+ mph winds and it handled beautifully, definately like the race rods in this kite.

I have yet to try it with the green rods to do a comparison but at the time I was enjoying flying too much to bother swapping ......
It flies through the air in exactly the same way a dual line doesn't.

Thomas, if you're up for it, follow up here with a comparative review? :)
