The dog ate my homework!! (??)
I was there last year with the team but it is very expensive to travel to the USA West Coast from the UK.
My first visit was by invitation in 1994. I was there with my family in 2001.
Let's hope that some of the USA and Japanese fliers can come to Europe in 2012.

Dropped a chunk of change on 3 Revs. Skipped going to Cali a few months ago to get the collection off to a good start!
Have family to visit in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and we will be attending the International Balloon Fiesta while there!
I'm already making plans to attend next year!
In the meantime, I must live vicariously through everyone's pictures! Please, take and post lots of pics!!!

So, I did last year and I get on the plane tomorrow morning to do it again.

We'll miss you Paul!

Two years ago my friends Rich and Paul called me from the beach at WSIKF and said I had to get out here.
So, I did last year and I get on the plane tomorrow morning to do it again.
Maybe next year I'll have an excuse for not going...

Monkey didn't wan't to abuse me enough to want to pay for the plane trip to the USA
I will have to talk to him when he gets to Longbeach later this week.......
I have no excuse. It is in my home state, 3 hour drive, and lasts for a whole week+!!!! If I can not make it then I need to re-evaluate my priorities in life.......

Had every intention of going (would have been my third year in a row) but......
a broken hand and recent knee surgery has put me out of commission for a bit.
Sunfest is coming soon and I WILL be there with the Rev Riders.... and I can't wait!!!
Have a great time out there.... will be thinking of you all.

He's welcome to come to the festival here in Cape Town late October and beat some skill into me with that SLE like he keeps promising
I guess he could nominate a sufficiently skilled substitute with sufficient finances, but it's just not the same if it's not a monkey
