No bs I have a buddy out at Lake Mead trying that right now!! He texted awhile back and told me they are afraid to get the boat going fast enough to get the Manta airborne. They've been using it like a giant skibob.

:big_stretcher: Hmmm, I know where to visit them tonight if they do manage to get airborne..... :big_stretcher: That's crazy!!

I've seen it before.. Thought trying to get stable flight from what I understand and be difficult. I'd like to try it, but I'm afraid that if I got any altitude, that it would roll and crash back tot he water like I've seen many times before. It would be fun though!!

I did this in Eilat which is southern Israel. and its soooo much fun. Its also suicide bc once you go up the only way to get down is jumping off or crashing so hard you bounce off going 40+ mph... If you can try it , it is a huge must.

These have been recalled because of serious injury and deaths. They are not legal to use on Lake Mead or any other Federal lake. I doubt they are legal to use on state run lakes or parks as well.

You may want to tell your friend to be very very careful.
