Maybe I will take your advice Sunday. I could use a little Rev time! Some wind is predicted and I might be able to handle the heat.

Hi Wayne....

How's everything?


From what I've heard, there was a good turnout for the festival. While the wind wasn't there early today, it picked up after about noon or so, and it was good. I didn't go today (the Posted Image knee Posted Image) but I will be there tomorrow... for sure!!!!!


There will be easy-ups for shade; which should help with the heat a bit. It is not forecast to be as unbearable as the last two years have been there. Posted Image

Well,

That was a fun day of flying and visiting friends. The wind was not the best, but I had a good time anyway. I especially enjoyed the performance by Aerial Acoustics. I caught the version of Styx' "Come fly away" on my iPod and have watched it several times. I love your version, Smitty! Thanks for the entertainment.

Just wanted to say that it was wonderful to see everyone again yesterday! Laura & Sammy, I was bummed to have missed you!

It seemed like my squirrelly home winds followed me to NJ, but once it shifted to coming off the water it was Soooo Sweet! I can totally see why you all love flying there. I was very much in Awe of Lady Liberty! What a sight!!! Now to review the photos and video clips I had shot. Hmmm...

I am sooooo glad you made it to Liberty.....hoooooraaaay!!! Yes, I am quite bummed that I couldn't be there.... the knee is still on the mend Posted Image. I got out for a few hours today, though I only flew for about 10 minutes.

One final record of the NJSKC event on Sunday - the performance by Aerial Acoustics. While some Rev flyers were trying to fly with poor wind conditions, Smitty and Dorothy Wagner performed some great acoustic guitar music. I recorded one tune - "Come Sail Away" and put it up on YouTube. I recommend 480p or better resolution setting to get a clear image.

Awww Man! I missed Smitty playing! I really enjoyed hearing Aerial Acoustics' music over the speaker system, that made for a nice day while flying! Thanks Wayne for the cool video and photos! Sorry that I missed seeing YOU as well!

Cool shot of Ben on the bench. When it first came up I thought it was a bathtub until I looked closer! Steve and his Rev jujitsu was amusing. What a fun bunch of people!

Hopefully we can cross paths at LBI or Belmar one of these days.

Thanks Wayne! Alden's sister got the best shots of Ben on the bench, mine are just from my phone camera. I hope they don't mind if I attach them below. When I saw him Revvin from the bench I said to Alden "That's what it's all about right there!" Ben looked SO content! :)

Hope to see you on beach sometime this summer too! Any plans on visiting Nationals in Wildwood???

No plans at this time, but I am not ruling out a day trip to the shore at some point during the event.
