This is a Rev that AdventureAng made as a gift for Gaiiden in 2008. The design is painted on a blank Rev from Revolution. Here's a pic that I had took of it...

CORRECTION: It was not painted on a blank rev, I made the WHOLE kite myself :-) Thanks for the compliment. That kite was a labor of love. A LOT of work, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It flies pretty well too.
Happy flying to everybody. Now get off the computer and get a kite out! hehe

I'm considering getting myself a printed Rev done and was wondering if there would be any kind of an issue with using the red sun background idea with an overlay of something like with the dragon (except I would have mine symmetrical and wouldn't be using that dragon or text at all) ?
I would not have a problem with you using the red sun: it's actually on the Japanese flag. That's where the inspiration came from. The text says, "Happy Birthday" in Japanese becuase it was a birthday presant.
Happy flying to everybody. Now get off the computer and get a kite out! hehe

I recognised the old rising sun war flag, and with the dragon and writing it was all related. Still, one of the nicest designs I have seen

I'm sorry Ang! I didn't realize that you made the sail as well! Sadly I never got a good close up look at it. You did a wonderful job!
