Nooooo, about USA Pilots.
We will be there.

Portsmouth AIR-4-CE Crew.
ALard, Stephen and myself (Marc)
It's not the size of your Rev.. its how you use it.
Seven days without flying a Rev makes one weak.

Good!
Maybe USA pilot/s will make the journey given the number of experienced fliers who will be congregating at Portsmouth<grins>

Looking forward to flying with some of our European flyers
Seems like we will have fliers from Holland, Germany, France and Spain. I do not have precise numbers at this stage, (nor am I particularly concerned about numbers <grins>) but I think that there should be about 48 'fully experienced' team fliers at the event.

Who will be there from Germany ??????
My understanding is that the organisers KSGB have been in contact and that the team will attend. I have no independent confirmation at this stage...

Sadly, it now appears that the German team will not attend.

knew it...indeed..sad news, always good to have them in megateams.

Maybe they would be able to attend Portsmouth independently?
I know that some fliers rely on a 'familiar environment' and feel overwhelmed if asked to work outside their comfort zone.

I know they don't have any problems with unfamiliar environments at all.
And we (AIR-4-CE) love to go outside our comfort zone too !!
See y'all there !
And Ben will be with us as well as per his message in another thread.
Not long now <grins>
Sadly we've just heard that the Knokke event the weekend before Portsmouth will not be happening.

Great news and who else will there from the USA..............................
Well....
I was over there last year but that hardly counts!
If we could get the USA and Japanese teams together with the European teams we would have serious numbers.
Sadly I do not, at this stage, have access to funding possibilities on that scale. I am open to suggestions as ever.

Maybe the "hook" presented to the auction organisers could be, with this fund we could help even more cool Quad fliers to the party.

I know it is not much, and possibly too late for this Year, however to help fund travel costs for long distance teams I would be happy to drop a Tenner in the pot, as long as maybe Felix was happy to administer the distribution of the funds, just an idea.
Thanks for the suggestion but, as you say, too late for this year.
The cost of long distance travel is such that I see it as the main barrier to getting 100 team fliers together. I would be interested to discuss this further but think that administering a funding project could be a nightmare and not one that I would want to take on currently.
