it's a lot of fun hanging out as a big quad group and chasing each other or flying formal team figures. Quads are much more social too, standing right next to each other and sharing our fun. Some folks don't even bring a kite they just walk around and borrow OPKs during conversations. You get to try out new things and form an opinion for yourself. Different sail patterns, bridles, frames, flying line, handles, ... each of us puts a little spin of personalization on our equipment. Welcome to the darkside! See ya' next year out on the Wildwood Line-up.
Paul,
You put your finger on an interesting aspect of Rev flying that I hadn't consciously realized. A big part of the joy of team flying is the social aspect, joking and laughing, teaching and learning, challenges and satisfaction when the formation appears in the sky as it was intended. I think this is a big difference from solo Rev flying and all other types of kiting activities and helps explain why it gets so addictive once the skills reach the point where flying with others is possible.

Hi Paul.... Awesome time, as always!!!
Hi xC4RB0NxR3104Dx-
Welcome to the Rev Family.
I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed! Feel free to ask away with the questions or, better yet, jump in there when you see a Rev flyer in action. We all gladly share everything: equipment, knowledge and most importantly, the fun and laughter!!!
*** Any day flying is a good day; have a great one!

If anyone has Lisa Willoughby's email, could you please send her the link since I don't have her address and I don't think she monitors the Rev forum.
When I can get to it, I will be sharing video of some team (including pilot's eye views) and stack flying. Stay tuned...

I stumbled across another video featuring Beatrix and someone flying a rainbow weave! Cool!...

That's Paul Dugard and let me assure you, that "press location" is about as tough as kite flying inside a burning telephone booth!
