Well my bags are packed and I'm out of here in the a.m. for the desert, NABX is always a blast and I'm sure this year will follow suit.....Posted Image What I like the most
is the fact that this is all about buggies and speed and taking it to the next level.....Posted Image So I'm hoping for big wind and to run it hard and fast, plus I'll get to see
some old friends who I never see enough for sure...... So lets see in on Monday and out on Wednesday, yeah me and Dr. Moody are ready for some good
runs across the dry lake bed, I got the need for speed....... My only problem is keeping the good doctor in line.......BenPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

If I had to guess (which I do), I'd say it was made by Dean Jordan for Ben. But that's just a guess.

That is correct this is a one of a kind project between me and Dean and it's hot for sure and is up for raffle at NABX this year, see guys there are reasons to come
and play in the desert.....Posted Image Now I know you have been waiting for updates but I've been busy, put Dr. Moody took some photos os himself and some of his
friends, the one with Mr. Skinner really has me concerned.....Posted Image Then I'm including some photos of the Dutch team and there styles and these guys really
are off the hook and I promise on Monday or Tuesday to add more photos..... BenPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

PS don't think I'd let Dean Jordan get away with making one kite and I have three more I will show you soon and as of now we only have three
so think about getting one even before that....Posted Image

Well as I kick off the sand from this latest adventure I have to smile and remember why from all over the world we come to meet on this dry lake bed
to push the limits and to just show off with our friends.....Posted Image Before I go any further let me tell Kent that I am really sorry I crashed your Manta land
sailer and to say again hmmmmm " I think I like this ", for you that do not know a land sailer is a very fast sail boat on wheels, and yes I did flip Kents
over when I got hit with a 30 mph gust.......Posted Image Like I said we push it out here, this year was good for many reasons and at one time I even saw Joe
Hadzicki tearing it up on our 2.4 and 4.8 and all in all it was a great event and I think I turned on one or two pretty girls on to Rev flying.....Posted Image So it's
time to soak out some of these bruises and get the sand out so remember NABX is not just for power kiters it is a place where kiters come to let there
hair down and chase the sun..... BenPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Ahhh, you didn't crash it at all, it just turned over when the gust hit. No worries and no damage. Although it was a bit comical seeing you hanging upside down in the belt! :)

Actually, Ben rocked in the sailor. For being his one and only time running the land yacht he did pretty darn well. I think we hit up to 25-30 mph a couple runs. Ben made quite a few before he got over by the flexi guys and the gust popped him over. He just stood the boat back up and then sailed back to camp. It was an awesome time!!! Anytime I get to fly/ride with you and Joe it is always a treat!

Thanks for coming Ben, I am just sorry that we didn't get to spend even more time together. Can't wait till next time!
Happy Winds!
Kent
