I think it was two years ago. I taught a woman to fly and she loved it so much she planned on becoming a dealer. We exchanged a few emails after that, but I can't say for sure that she followed through. Lolly would know.Did you meet any in North Dakota last June?

perhaps you can tell us are there flyers in Northern Ireland?
If there is any I've never met them. Mores the pity really, but powerkiting seems to be a bigger pull (if you'll excuse the pun) in these here parts.
Rev flying over here can be a lonely pursuit

Just chatting with Lolly, and she's curious exactly how many (and which) countries have confirmed Rev fliers.
So I'll kick this off with a few countries that I know right off the top of my head, but if your country isn't on this list - please speak up with a post here!
You're welcome to chime in even if your country is listed, but it's not necessary.
So to all you wonderful Rev fliers, what is your home country?

Considering most Americans don't know that Alaska is a state...you should move that line up some just to make it easier on them...lol

It is possible to add a private map of personal local flying places and include a link to this in your description within Google maps (see entries for myself and kristalis on the Google map).
These maps can be made private limiting access to those that know the url so they will only be accessable through the links. Also only the owner will have the ability to edit. If the 'rev flyers of the world' map was made private and a link posted here, similar to the members map, then that would overcome some of the issues of public access restricting access to the 'rev flyers of the world' map to those in the forum following the link.
This would give the possiblity of not only recording individuals location, as on the members map and the 'rev flyers of the world', but of allowing the addition of personal flying places, links to local kite festivals or anything else the individual feels may be of interest (like beach front watering holes for example
Is there anyway we could be allowed to update our individual markers on the Members Map to include links out to individually maintained Google Map's?

Not directly, you'd need to add such a link to your profile (after establishing a good consistent location for it), then folks could click into that from the map.Is there anyway we could be allowed to update our individual markers on the Members Map to include links out to individually maintained Google Map's?
