We're breaking down the USA by state as it's the home country for Rev, a bit of local mapping if you will...
Internationally, we'll keep it to whole countries, and what I'm looking for (due to my own ignorance) is a reading from YOU as residents of those countries, how they should be listed. ;)

Hmmm! Presumably the company has figures relating to USA sales as opposed to 'export' sales. Obviously retailers in the USA may have been making 'export' sales as well which may not register with the company.

I am wondering how the figures shake down but obviously it is a commercially sensitive matter so we may never know.

In total numbers how does 'the rest of the world' shape up against USA sales?

Aloha John...and all

Thinking about all the Revs around the wold, how about having a designated Rev kite fly day?
Set a day for each country or the world to fly revs. Or at least set up one's Rev. and take a picture if not possible to fly etc. Don't know if a "world" fly day would work or not, it would be pretty cool though to have everyone who has a Rev. on the forum and all to fly their Rev. on one specific day and document it with a picture etc.
Could be something like a day in the world of Rev. kites.
If possible, take pictures of the flying and upload the pictures to a designated website.
All sorts of happenings could come from that, besides a lot o smiles, fun and joy.
Rev. world fly calendar for one, or by country calendars etc.
Media being informed around the world where some flying is happening.....could be a good thing for sales and advertisement for Rev, the kiting world, businesses and participants.
Instead of the expenses, time and transportation etc. for a large kite fly, each person could fly on the designated day where they choose to, group or no group etc.
Gloria Stewart, the late Titanic actress, had a wonderful display of her kite works at the 2010 Nationals in one room. One poster that was on display in the room had a quote she wrote that I think might be appropriate for this. My wife and I really liked it.
"To fly a kite is to love the sky"

Rev's first annual world Kite flying day.
Sounds like fun. What would be cool is to make a picture / poster of several Rev. kites using all the photos from the flying day.

Keep on dreaming and chasing rainbows

Steve

I've not looked into it but might there be a possible tie in with something like Google Earth here?

Please Note: The question may belong here, but any resulting discussion may drag this thread way off topic. therefore I have double posted to create an off-shoot thread in "Open Topic" for this discussion.

Not necessarily, we do have our share of "lookers", folks who register to learn more - before or without actually owning a Rev. ;)

Hi John,

I can attest to Rev Flyers in Antigua. Calvin Pilgrim, Lyndon Johnson and 3 others have kites that we left for them .
It's a great place to fly! Smooth winds and 365 beaches!

I'm ready to go!

I didn't see Connecticut. Doug Coates and Karl Berg are 2 Rev Flyers I know of off the top of my head.
I'm sure there are more!
