Off and running....

trip to the Caribbean where I get to hang out with old friends and met new ones I'm excited, and my foot is even feeling pretty good ...... I'll tell you 2010
was rough and all of you really pitched in and helped with lessons and stuff and I am so very thankful for all of your help..... I'll tell you, you guys really saved
my butt and made this another great year, Id also like to thank all the teams for always going the extra mile and working so hard to make this all work, my
biggest thank you is to my team (iQuad) for putting up with me when I was a bit grumpy and just carrying me thru many painful days and helping out
with all my projects and keeping me going when I thought I'd had enough..... So here we go 2011 and I'm healthy and I'm happy and " I'm off and
running " for another great year of kiting with my Family..... Merry Christmas Family and may your new year be great in every way...... So as I close
this year out and start another all my love and respect to my Revolution Family and remember " see ya in the sand " Ben

happy new year's eve <Soca style!>
Watch out for their big kites made with 1.25" aluminum square tubing as a frame. This kite had a rig built onto a pickup truck and it was so wide (as a load) that both travel lanes were necessary to transport it to the event. Hey!, ... they come down just as dramatically as they go up, <HA!> so keep a sharp eye out my friend, safety considerations are so NOT in effect in the 3rd world!
Hotels and business establishments can't hardly keep trash bags between Thanksgiving and New years eve in stock,.. they mysteriously vanish are turned into kite sails! Every conceivable size, almost always the same basic shape and proportions, materials, construction techniques, etc. You'll be amazed at their kite building efforts working with stuff we'd all throw away!

Valerie expects some greatness out of the folks assembled. Make sure you blast 'em away with a performance worthy of the expense. Then clear the heck out of the way, INCOMING is common announcement over the PA system!
