Seems I am the 2010 poster child for falling hard - I have no idea how the hell I managed to end up with 13 in the first year of flying Revs

I looked back at my acquisitions and I actually got something new in hand every 2 months - in theory my next should be Feb 2011.

When you pull out the larks heads and start to wind your lines, then unwind and re attach 20 times before you finally admit to yourself that that 1 MPH gust just aint gener last. And its really time to give it up for the day. MAYBE

End cap is off on the right side of the photo. After 2 years of power kites and deciding I'd like something for lower wind even though I never related to that ugly Rev shape and lack of excitement and danger you get with a power kite.

@SynTaks
Damn, you beat me by one![]()
I guess that would make you the 2009 poster child for being addicted then. Sorry to take your crown this year, but I'm sure someone will take it from me next year since I'm planning to slow down in 2011.![]()

I'm surprised, as a power kiter, you don't have a Blast 2/4 or 4/8! Get with the program!
Lessee...
We got our first Revs in 2008. By the same time in 2009, our list looked like this:
1 Original Rev 1 (2 color sail with the T300 imprint, not sure how far into the revs that is)
1 Original Rev 2 (single panel sail, 2-piece frame)
1 Original Rev 1.5 (The ones with the Mylar and SLE)
3 Rev 1.5 SULs (Blk-Lime, Red White & Blue, Rainbow)
1 Rev EXP Blk/Wht/Red
1 Rev 1.5 Full Vent Tropical
1 Black & Gold B-series
1 Race Hot B-Pro
1 Original Rev Blast
1 Rev Shockwave
1 Rev Indoor
1 Rev Blast 2/4
This last year, the only thing added (Thanks Ben!) is the newer Rev 1 and a UFO, which we haven't had wind for trying out.
5 sets of Rev Handles and 3 sets that my better 3/4 designed out of plumbing.I have no idea how many linesets we have. They need their own bag. LOL
The problem is that I'm the club president, and the one everybody sends people to to inquire about Revs up here, so I GOTTA have at least one of everything possible, right?
I had wanted to get a Zen, because I actually like the feel of the Rev 1, and the precision (To me there's a LOT of difference) of the B-Pro. But having gone down to Poway and standing in front of this huge stack of Revs at the factory place thingie, I really want either a Bazzer Eyes, or even more, the Vampire Lady. Considering I will probably never be able to afford those, I have been considering selling off some of the others I have, but I don't want to lose those either...lol.
I love going into the kite bag my better 3/4 made and thinking about which kite I should use for that day. We had to make a bag, because the bag rev makes isn't made for people like us...lol Come on Ben...Make a bag that holds 20-25 kites...
