.....you have to start writing on the outside of the Rev sleeves to help you figure out which kite is which.
.....you start thinking that one Rev Multi bag may not be enough.
.....your local kite dealer recognizes your voice on the phone before you even say who you are.

.... you pull on the steering wheel with your little fingers to stop the car (or push with your thumbs, depending on how you've been taught).
.... you think parks with trees look unwelcoming.
.... you contemplate replacing your Kevlar line sets so you can fly with other people.

You spend a lot of time reading kite forums and watching kite videos.

**** You have little purple revs painted on your nails for every festival.

**** It's 12 degrees out, windchill below zero and yet we're still out there flying.

... you have an up-coming weekend trip to LA with your wife for her daughter's birthday AND your first wedding anniversary and you STILL are thinking of packing a rev for a side trip to Huntington Beach to meet Dave at the Kite Connection and fly next to the pier. ( Nov 11-14 if anyone will be around LA then, i'm serious)
...tornado warnings?.....that just means to use the 300# line-set and double-up the leading edge with the full vent. (don't forget the rain gear)

I quite literally laughed out loud when I read that. You know you are addicted to Rev flying when....

That rings a bell......you purposely purchase the exact same color mid vent and full vent as your first B-Standard just so your wife doesn't know you now have three kites….
I use coloured key covers on the draw strings, sky blue – sul, mid blue – std, lilac – mid vent and red – full vent. Same problem, different solution......you have to start writing on the outside of the Rev sleeves to help you figure out which kite is which.
I’m thinking of extending my bag......you start thinking that one Rev Multi bag may not be enough.
I think I’ve told this one before but for those who haven’t seen it before. I am a postman I am standing on a customers doorstep with a parcel and I am thinking, “there’s something familiar about this package” then the penny drops, I have just recognised my dealers writing on the address label......your local kite dealer recognizes your voice on the phone before you even say who you are.
JB does that for me, see Global Rev Count,When you loose count of your REVs.
It's Good to Share the Joy.

We will have ended our summer trip (left Laguna Woods on May 26th, plan to return on November 10th or 11th) by then and will most likely be flying on the north side of the pier on Friday the 12th, weather permitting. Will know more as time gets closer.

Most all of the above fits. The wind through the trees, flags flying, wondering about vacant spaces all seem right on.
Lynn has been sewing identifying things on kite sleeves for years. For the kites we make, she sews a sleeve to match. Some are quite fancy.

Hi Dave-
Sweeeeeeeeeet!!! See..... part of the addiction.... every vacation must have some Rev action!!! ...or the vacation is strictly for flying!!!
As a matter of fact, how many of you have gone to a beautiful place, maybe on the opposite coast, and haven't seen much other than the beach you're flying on, a few restaurants and the hotel that you're staying at (which is on the beach!!!)
