John your just being wrong......Posted Image Okay gang here's what the deal is going to be, John has but together a really cool kite that is the history of Revolution kites,
and our friends in Spain are doing the printing and they are cool very, very, cool.........Posted Image There will be a total of 25 kites and 5 of these kites will go to very special
people who have helped Revolution over the years, the other will go on sale as a direct buy item from me for the price of $325.00 US with any frame you want.
Another thing is I will be having all three of the brothers sign and date each one, as many of you know we have not had the honor of Jim signing anything in a
long time so these are really special.......Posted Image My best advise is to call the office and put your name on one of these, or maybe 2 one to fly one to show, cause my
thoughts are they will not last, also so you know after these 25 are made the template will be destroyed so these will never be done again...... So Family we have
19 up for grabs cause I know one person for sure who wants one, so call the office get on the list cause when there gone they are gonnnneeeeeeee......BenPosted ImagePosted Image

The new Historical REV has finally come out of the clouds(and the puzzle).

This one will really light up the sky for you whether it rainy and gray or bright blue and sunny.

As some of you suspected it does look a bit like Ben's beautiful one and only blue Historical Rev which I designed last year.
The background colors were taken from a beautiful golden sunset that I took pictures of in Langkawi, Malaysia.
Revolution logo has been given the effect of being carved out of the material.
Each Revolution on this Historical REV are photos taken by me.
The photos you will find on the curve going from left to right are:
- 1988 Neos Omega
- 1989 Revolution I Classic
- 1990 Revolution I Rainbow
- 1990 Revolution II Basic
- 1990 Revolution II Classic
- 1991 Revolution II Rainbow
- 1995 Revolution 1.5
- 1997 Revolution I Neo-Classic
- 1997 Revolution I A-Symmetric
- 1997 Revolution II Neo-Classic
- 1998 Revolution 1.5 SLE
- 2001 Revolution 1.5 SLE
- 2002 Revolution 1.5 SLE
- 2006 Revolution I vented
- 2009 REV 1.5 John Barresi_Pro
- 2010 ZEN
Upper left is a REV 1.5 USA Flag by Barry "Bazzer" Poulter
Lower right is a 2001 Rev Indoor

This was not an easy project, however it was a lot of fun. In particular it was fun crawling through the deep dark vaults of Revolution to find some of these kites to photograph.
The design was performed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and a lot of training on those products.
We have received photos of the first sail printed. Everything is perfect and the colors look great.

Check out Ben's blog above for even more details.

So folks, Here is the design on a real sky background.

I saw the skins of the Golden Historical Revolution today. WOW! They were great!
The detail was unbelievable. You could even read Bazzer's signature on the Zen.

The skins are off shortly to the semester to be sewn. I would make a wild guess that some(or all) might be ready to ship probably next week.
You would have to consult Ben or Lolly for more precise information.

Hello Matthias,
If you look earlier in this topic, you will find information from Ben D'Antonio who is Sales Manager for Revolution Kites.
The retail USA price is $325.00. You can NOT order directly on this forum.
The only details available for this Golden Historical Revolution at this moment, is within this subject.
At this time it is a only direct purchase from Ben at Revolution.
Just give them a call or send them an email. They will get your order processing.

I really hope you order and enjoy a Golden Historical Revolution

Hello Family, well it's a wet weekend in San Diego and as most of you know I'm sort of bedridden with a sneak off to work each day.....Posted Image So with that said I
have to give credit where it is do and these beautiful kites are really brought to by John M., he not only designed the lay out but also worked with our friends
in Spain to get them printed......Posted Image So the world knows we are a small company and could never pay the people that do so much for us in so many ways so
every once in awhile I pick someone to do a project with and let them run with it and on this one I let John run and did he ever runPosted Image, these kites came
out so good it's just shocking the detail in each one.... Then he came up to the factory and inspected the sails when they came in and got to see the custom
bags I had printed to go with them and I'd venture to say he was impressed how good the project came out....Posted Image Now on to this post John as you know we
are keeping 5 of the kites and we'd like you to except one as a gift not so much for this one project but for all you do for all of us, the Revolution Family......Posted Image
Now it is with great sadness tonight I'm destroying the original print which was used to create this one of a kind kite,,,,,Posted Image but not to worry I already bought
one of these kites for myself...... BenPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Thank You very much Ben for your kind words and the wonderful gift of a Golden Historical Revolution.
I'll try not to hound you too much for not taking care of your leg when I see you hobbling around.
Now I am surely going to get flamed by others for making that last statement.

Hey John, we are ALL trying to get Ben to rest and put himself first for a while. At least till that foot gets better. And I am sure you have nagged at him the same as we all are.

In reality, if any of us think that Ben is going to sit round on his posterior for the next few Weeks I think we are living in LaLa land.

Now Ben, you be good OK? :kid_devlish:

Hello Family well got the chance to test this one today and me and " Jack "Posted Image went out for some serious kite flying....Posted Image So with that even with it being a bit
over cast down at " Seaport Village " things went well with the new art kite with graphics by the one and only John Mitchell was a great success and really looked
well in the sky..... I must admit this design is all Johns idea and it came out really good and the brothers in Spain did an awesome job on the print work as always
and the bags are even better than the kite...... (hint keep your eyes open we may have to have new bags for all the kitesPosted Image) So with this all being said from the
not to sunny Southern Cally heres the new kites in flight with some real cool background......BenPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image
