I am selling my red and black SLE with 4 wrap rods.
I did not go through the classifieds, thinking this would hit the target group.
Want 125.00. This includes a set of berry blue lines, but no handles.
Kite is in great shape.
Now for those who would even have a remote thought I am getting out of rev kites. NO
I being a vain person regarding the style of my kites, would use the money for one that is red, white and blue. ( like my new vented sle, and all other revs)

Pics will be posted Friday.
And the rods are 1/4 inch.
Gotta confirm they are 4 wrap, not 3 wrap.

Yep!! UL - 3 wrap, Strong - 4 wrap, professional use - 2 wrap, flames - race!! :)

Strong since 1988 has also been labeled "Revolution Equipped".

There also existed a 6 wrap production version on the REV I labeled "Stiff".
In addition there were a number of different special order versions primarily used in trains.

You might also be correct.
I really do not know if the newer silver labeled 4 wrap rods have "strong" on the label as I have not seen them. They should at least have 4 feathers on them.
I must check this out.

I know Kens post is a bit kidnapped and turning into a rod strength discussion. That is however the way conversations normally develop and I see no problem with it. However another rod question.

The earlier rods with no sticker on them. Are they normally accepted to be 3 or 4 wrap or could they be either?

Getting back to Kens post.

Good looking kite, hope you get interest in it.

The only rods I am aware that were normally shipped without labels were with the REV 1.5 EXP.
These "should have been" only three wrap rods..

Hey, off topic is fine. ( I actually find it funny)
I have done it a few times myself.
It's almost like extra advertising.
And anytime there is more discusion about rev topics I don't know, the better.
Thanks.

Thanks John. Think my early Rev 1 rods have no lable either. And at least one set of my Rev 2's. Of course they could have been lost over time.

And thanks T, never noticed the little line round joining the feathers B4.

And Ken, I love the way posts develop. I was joshing a bit about the thread stealing. :kid_devlish:
