I don't read about it or see it much, but using tails is something I just started having fun with.
Any input from the masses would be a help.
Length of tails, singles or doubles, attachment points, etc.
Visually very cool!

I did a first time ballet with tails not too long ago for your reference : http://www.revkites....__1&#entry71861
Attachment points are on both vertical downspar tips. Tail I used was 45 foot GKPI Skywriter tails. Great feel and looks. They follow the path of the Rev pretty close, plus its pretty light too.
Tails have really grown on me and I really like their look on Revs now.

Funny thing.: When you make an axel after a dive-stop it feels like the tail is lifting up the centre of the LE and makes the axel even easier !!!!

Seven days without flying a Rev makes one weak.

I did it about 17 years back.
I created 6 tails at 15mtr long, each of a different color. I hung them with velcro on the inner trailing edges equally spaced.
The width was 25mm. They were "hot cut" from Icarex Polyester.
It took roughly 1 square meter of material for each tail.
I took the a one meter long piece and cut it down the middle and sewed the short two ends together and kept repeating this process until I had one 25mm wide tail. You will have to do some calculations first in order to end up with a reasonable width at the end.

Anyone make custom tails to SELL?
Sort of looking at those long, single ones, that are showing up in videos and the Madquad photo here.

Bart, Marc has bought some of his tails from me:

and they are the same ones used in the iQuad Lincoln City vid posted above.
Now to your specific question.....Custom tails? You mean different colors than the standard offering?
