Hi Guys,
I finally got my 1st Rev 1.5 SLE,what I want to know is,which rods do I use while I'm learning to fly (and crashing).Do I use the large ones that are already in the kite or change them with the thinner ones.I've read so many forums on this topic I'm a bit confusedPosted Image Also what is the "wrap" on the rods and the number of wraps i.e 2 wrap,3or 4 wrap?

Choose the SLE(thick rod) for learning to fly. It is much more rugged. These are/were available in both a two and three wrap versions. After you are past the crashing stage you could shift to the 1/4" rods.

The 1/4" OD rods are as follows:
2 wrap is identified with the label "For Professional Use Only" or with two feathers.
3 wrap is identified with the label "UltraLight" it three feathers.
4 wrap is identified with the label "Revolution Equipped" or four feathers.
6 wrap is identified with the label "Stiff". These are rare and by special order only.
