Very nice! I saw a move I want to try at WSIKF, the figure 8 pinwheel/2X4 kite pass through. That had a bit of wow factor for me. The wingtip turn pinwheel was also really cool!

Hi Walt,

I think that we referred to the 'figure 8 pinwheel/2X4 kite pass through' as 'the sprocket'. It was, I am pretty sure, a new one for us at Berck.

The wingtip turn pinwheel was just waiting to be done. It is, by contrast to 'the sprocket' pretty much risk free and very adaptable.

I wonder how you would try 'the sprocket' at WSIKF. <grins>

Well, I figure it will be no problem getting seven other willing pilots on a line and give it a whirl!

I will even try to get Bartman on that line just for S&G (sh!!s & giggles for the uninitiated)

(I am hoping the attending Decs would help out......) <bigger grin>

Hmmm! I wonder how far it would scale? Eight is fine... eighty? <giggles indeed> ('a whirl'???)

For the grid, I think that we should be looking for slow (and I mean 'very' slow') on the spot rotations...

The Decs will 'help out' every time...

Hi Alex,  Great work ... AGAIN  :blue-grin:  Many Thanks my Friend.

As for the routine, that is THE DECS !!!!   Great Music and stunning flying !!! Just awesome, 20 Years and they still teach all us Noobs how it should be done ! Some lovely subtle touches, and to end more classic Decs.

I think at Berck it was;

Jake, Felix, Romney, Vaughan, Mark, Dave, Ashley & Martin.

Great work by Alex indeed...

I think that those were the fliers. Not sure about the line-up on the ground. Will have to watch the video again <grins>

Give It A Whirl

Hi Walt,

It was not the dictionary definition that I needed in all honesty.

I wondered how one could extrapolate from eight upwards <grins>

Thanks for this Alex - you are the master of Rev videos! :) Great to see close ups of the kites in flight and for once my bungees didn't get stuck to Jakes kite!

Hi David, I find it useful to make the top Bungees as short as possible, but then you need to work on the lower ones.  For the reason you say.

Hello Laura,

Jørgen's design is great on the Rev1 and Rev1.5s as in the video. They are the same in concept but with different proportions.

We flew the vented 1.5s at Berck and Cervia as well. They have a different graphic by
Jørgen. They are slightly different to the JB Pro Vented but also sewn by Bazzer.

Blackheath next weekend, so everything is just fine <grins>

Hi Ben,

Alex does a great job on the videos.

Thanks for your encouragement. It was great to fly with you at Berck.

See you at WSIKF.

Going in one way and reversing out might seem simple at first but, as you say, it is a bit of a mind bender. I had been wondering about starting again in the opposite direction rather than continuing the two pin wheels at the initial exit but the mind boggled <grins>
