Oh yeah, gonna be awesome... I'm headed up either Sunday or Monday.

I made an executive decision and I'll be there Sunday evening!

Great seeing John Farrell this weekend!

Lynn and I got to Long Beach on Monday morning. Monday afternoon was sunny with "hang on to your vented Rev" wind. Tuesday was a full sail with two wrap and sunny. Wednesday was full sail with three wrap and very nice. Today was almost as much wind as Monday. Vented with three wrap and extra two wrap leading edge. Sunny and nice. We flew together for three or four hours each day.

Headed to Sunset Beach just south of Warrenton, OR tomorrow afternoon to fly with Bob Serack.

WSIKF is already good, and it hasn't even started yet!

Hey, John, don't worry. If it blows like it did yesterday, there will be wind for everyone for a month. A 31 day month.

Less than 48 hours until I'm on the road... Bringing more kites to this event than I have to any other all year! :)

Here's a bi of a summery of how it's been so far. Yesterday, The wind was nice and strong and nearly everyone had their vented revs out. Today, the wind was pretty light so we all got out our std.'s wih 2 wrap or race spars.

So far, the bottom of my face is sunburnt (I wear a hat and sunglasses, so it's a pretty clear line through the middle of my face) and my legs are killing me. No Ballets or anything yet (aside from "Charly Chaplen (I spelled that wrong)). I can't wait to see how the wind is tomorrow!!

Today, the wind was light in the morning then stronger as the day went on. I think iQuad did team ballet type of thing, but I'm not sure (I had to leave for the indoor fly). I ony stayed at the indoor fly for a couple hours until I got tired (My first time indoors) but many more people had gotten there so it was crowded anyway. I think iquad did a demo thing there as well.

WSIKF was way too much fun.

Lynn and I flew with iQuad along with Watty, Amy Doran, Jennifer Brown, Steve Blasdel, Penny Lingenfelter, and many other fun fliers. At one point there were sixteen of us.

We did pairs at the night fly with finger lights. Watty loaned us the lights as I forgot to get them from John. Thank you Watty. That was cool.

Lynn and I also flew our first ever pairs competition. First in the novice class senior ballet. What fun!!

Already made our reservations at the RV park in Long Beach WA. for next year.

See you at Seal Beach, CA September 16th.

I suspect we're all recovering...

But, as Jim said, it was a BLAST!

Neglected to mention the Labor Day weekend fly coming up in Crescent City with the Rogue Valley Wind Chasers.

We are on our way and will arrive today, Tuesday. John B, Steve B, JD and the rest of the Windchasers, Lynn and I will be there for sure. If you can make it, do it. They have lots of fun flying and a great potluck. Really a nice event.
