days just freezing and flying in huge wind and having the time of my life.... Each day I have picked a team and just got to know them and fly with them to
improve my skills, cause we all know I don't really fly that well....
and the Family has been out in force just doing what we do.... You know when I do my regular report I'll thank everyone but for now I'd really like to thank
" The Flying Squad " and Gary most of all for just putting up with me......
yet I can be a royal pain in the
but these guys have just went beyond the call of duty, if you ever get a chance get to know them cause they are a great group and they can even fly the kite
sort of I guess

and the Family has been out in force just doing what we do.... You know when I do my regular report I'll thank everyone but for now I'd really like to thank
" The Flying Squad " and Gary most of all for just putting up with me......As some of you know and as iQuad can tell you I can really be a bit much, better
yet I can be a royal pain in the...... But with that said I do give it my all plus some and The Flying Squad has just been there for me, all the teams have
but these guys have just went beyond the call of duty, if you ever get a chance get to know them cause they are a great group and they can even fly the kite
sort of I guess..... Anyway before it goes to there heads I'll close with this thought, THANKS FOR THE " WHINGE CARD" guys...... Ben

a part of this Revolution Family we have....
about team comps. but it is really about so much more, I wish I could explain it but till you have the chance to experience I don't think words can do it justice.
The sites, the sounds, the energy, can only really happen when you enter the arena and feel the crowds and the vibes they give out.....
and have not felt this feeling before anywhere, today a Russian flier came up to me and thanked me for entertaining all the fliers on my short lines and my vented
eye's. She said she had never met anyone who showed such passion for what they do and all I was doing was having fun between the lessons.....
is the last day of the event but for me this event will always be with me because today I can tell you that now I understand John and Monks and for this understanding
I will always be changed, this is Berck this is a world unto itself and there is no other... If you don't understand all I can say is come and you will......
for now but I'll post some photos in a day or two.... Live from Berck........ Ben

Sounds like a great time! The videos I've seen so far rock.
I would love to be a part of that some day, too!
Safe trip home, Ben.

It was a great last day in Berck but the closure of airports means that Ben was getting very worried about how to get home.
I hope that it works out. Maybe we will see Ben in Cervia after all...

We are supposed to be 'flying' there next Sunday. As Ben observed earlier today, the trains are on strike in France as well...

Once when Lynn and I were in Paris the trains went on strike. We were traveling with a Eurail pass. We found that international trains were still running, and were able to get a train to Germany and continue our trip.

I was out flying today with Terry and he asked about festivals in Europe and I said to him, "Berck, hands down, there's nothing like it. 2 weekends and all the days in between"
(don't get me wrong, there's lots of great festivals in Europe, I -thoroughly- loved Portsmouth and Bristol, but, ya, Berck holds a special place in my heart.)
