that's not that difficult, but shorter lines will make it easier/slower and the videographer will need to move to make it look best.
Hey Weider,
when you come out for NSAM can you stay a few days extra,...
maybe join us for Smithsonian too that next weekend?
(NSAM is 3/20/2010 and smithsonian is 3/27/2010)

Hi Paul,back-up a 360?

I would love to stay for a few more days however, I fly out of Boston on WED for a week out at the Lincoln City, Oregon Indoor. I will miss the outdoor Smithsonian again.
But a REVERSE 360 I'll try.
For Chris,
A true SLIDE 360 would be difficult IMO, in no wind you really use the inertia of the leading edge, therefore is more of a glide, even indoor on very short lines a (dead square SLIDE 360 is tough, so just imagine the longer travel with longer lines, I think would be hard. maybe the Mutant, Steve DEROOY could make it happen, or the perpetual energy ball that is JB, LOL.
I took the videographer's head, on the second 360, as I was in a glide he just expected me fly over him on the second leg, dead up wind. I took the camera right out of his hand. I was winded some, you can see the kite comes right into the camera, I had to make a cut. (around the 130 ish mark)
This type of flying to me is new, making it happen in a new atmosphere, almost indoor flying on 100 ft. lines, very different, it seems I can fly lazy like I would in a 3 or 4 MPH with the 1.5.
I thought Florida winds ( very low but steady ) might be a good place for this kite and I was right. And the team thing will be a great test as I believe will be new ground.
It's funny because I will watch people around me start to pull there little kites and wonder why there not flying.
I have had some time to fly, Thankfully, but all the while eating crackers LOL. it's always a give and take.
RICH,
gifted me that version of "Fly Like an Eagle" I'm still practicing the axel though, Rich.
Thanks bro, we'll use that, I like it!
To all,
Thanks for watching and the comments.
