List updated, please let me know if I've missed anyone.

Also, two more things...

1. I'm not adding "maybes" to the list, so you'll need to re-post here once you've got confirmation on your side.

2. Bear in mind the NWSKL competitions scheduled for Sat/Sun (possibly Fri too)... With pilots 5 out for comps last year, we were missing exatly what we needed to break the record.

I dig comps, it's all good... But fact of the matter, you'll miss out on most of the mega fly action if you're competing... I need to know this, all part of the planning.

John, definitely count me in for the mega, mega fly. I'll be there all week. Thanks for putting the Thursday, Friday, Saturday plan out there in advance. Last year I showed up around 11 am on Saturday hoping to fly in the afternoon & it was all over! Posted Image I missed the big one.

I did have fun flying with everyone several other days such as below.

I sent an email with more details.

Have fun, Ray.

OK, Ashley has just confirmed that he is going into debt <grins> and so we will make the trip. (He will just have to get some work to pay off the debt...)

We will arrive Saturday 14th 16:45 at Seatac and will stop locally overnight. Driving to Long Beach direct at c3-4-5:00am UK time just does not seem like a good idea.

Arrive Long Beach Sunday 15th, leave Sunday 22nd for the 18:45 flight.

Ha, that's THIRTY-THREE confirmed in the middle of February with six months to go before the event! :)

I've also got six more almost assured people on my spreadsheet that are nearly guaranteed to make it, but haven't confirmed yet.

Hi JB,

With that lead time it should almost be possible to teach a hundred fliers from scratch. <grins>

All looking good.

Hey Steve,

It will be good to fly with you all again.

We do have a bit of work to do in the meantime but I am sure it will fly past...

Best wishes

3 Decorators "in the house"... One more, and you'll have a base team on the beach! <grin>

John,

I will be at WSIKF all week - definitely.

Depending on whether you can do miracles for my skills at the clinic next month :kid_smartass:, I'd like to try some of the mega-flies. :P

I haven't flown formation with other than a number of gulls and one eagle.

Hey John,

I do plan on competing this year. Nationals is on the west coast this year, and I hope to qualify. I will, of course, be with the group at all times except for the indoor competition and demos, quad line ballet, and quad line precision.

We'll do what we can for you at the clinic Howard, it's more within reach than you might guess.

I'll put you on the list, albeit tentatively. ;)

When will be your first full day at WSIKF?

==

Watty, fully understood...

They might make you judge, field direct or pit boss (typical in exchange for competing), that usually kills another 2-4 hours.

Also be prepared, AKA Nationals registration is typically $175-$185. ;)

Add me to the list JB, I will be there somehow. I know I can make the trip pay for itself, I will hopefully have use of the camper again or I will sleep in my car if I have to. I will shoot for the entire week, but will say Fri-Sun is a positive.

Last year, they let my grandma take over my pit bossing while I was doing mega-flys, so that at least saves some time. I have to give her a big hug every time though XD

ye, saving up now. I don't plan on competing any more after this year (or I will at least take a break from competition), so I might as well do as much as I can.
