I'm mostly packed as well, but have a nagging feeling that I am forgetting something obvious.
Bart
Lines? Ground stake? Rum offerings for Bazz and Steve? Rain gear (not likely from the look of it...but ya never know) Suntan lotion? Hat?

Hi Laura, Hi Brian,
2 gerups here as we fly out on Saturday.
I'm looking forward to meeting with everyone and will not be too disappointed if we do not get the 100. <grins>
The check lists are mostly ticked even if all the bags have not finally been packed.
Safe journeys...
Felix
Hi Felix-
Awesome..... glad you're getting an early start; you have a looooooooooong haul to get there.
I'm also looking forward to meeting everyone I haven't already met. While it will be ever so slightly disappointing that there might not be 100 pilots (only time will tell), it's going to be an amazing experience just to be close to those numbers. Also, all that will be learned in attempting this is extremely valuable, too.
Safe and easy travels.
*** Any day flying is a good day; have a great one!
**** REVS: Fly it, you'll like it!
***** L.S.P. ... It's worth the trip!

Hey Bart, don't forget your kites...
I guess that would be the obvious thing, but for some reason that's not the nagging thing in my head.

All but the rum, maybe that was it.

I hear that they are all partial to Tequila anyway...

Can you believe it, three more days and I'll be there (I admit I started planning my packing tonight).

Tequila is SO 2008
I'm already regretting a little bit that I don't get down until Wednesday night however, there is stuff to be done.

I am sooo looking forward to seeing everyone from out of town, from across the country and from across the pond.
You might meet my dad. From waaayyy across the pond in Germany. His first first kitfestival with age 82! Haven't posted much but I'm exited anyway. BTW everybody is talking about rum and tequilla... I started to cook my own beer 6 weeks ago. Nothing extraordinary yet but every batch was better that Budwiser. Does that count too? See you Thursday PM:)
