I am quite literally TWITCHING to get out of here and on the road. Steve, Willow, Meaghan and myself head down to Seatac this evening for a flight out tomorrow morning. On the beach by 8PM!

Seriously, I start looking forward to this event right about the time I get home from the last one, it's THAT much fun.

The pic below is from my first trip to SPI when just John and I went in 2007. You can see I have my iQuad jacket on, which we'd just gotten our first ones. (Our NEW jackets will be unveiled there this week as Little Stevie wore his out. Seriously. I'm not sure he ever takes it off, along with his sunglasses and hat.) We go a few days early now and treat the first couple of days as iQuad Training camp, working out the cobwebs from a few months apart.

Sun, sand and kites, how cam you go wrong?

Ah unfair Me John TK and JD have to sit hear twiddling our thumbs until the morning. You are already traveling.

Man we can't wait to get to the Island. Will see everyone at the Rev clinic. Is IQuad going to be at the indoor kite fly Friday night? I got a PAP rig set up and hope to get some nice pictures.

We'll be at the indoor, dusting off the old indoor team routine as well!

Spent yesterday at our skunkworks location, writing our new 6-person routine and bringing TK up to speed.

One more day like tat today, redoubled, then the indoor tonight, then the clinic tomorrow, and 2 days of festival.

Oh, this is tough, real tough.

What a GREAT EVENT!!!!!!!

Indoor, outdoor, the social functions, all TOP NOTCH!

Anyone who has the chance next year, this is an absolutely amazing event, and a welcome break to warmer weather in January.

I have to agree it was top notch and loads of fun for all, the Rev clinic went really well and the team was really on there "A" game with the new routine.....
So can you say "SPI" for next year??????? Ben
