Since there wasn't any real verbiage or official posting about the 10th annual SPI Kite Fest...

10th Annual SPI Kite Fest
Saturday & Sunday
January 30 & 31st, 2010
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On the flats - North of Convention Centre
South Padre Island, Texas

Two full days of kite flying on South Padre Island sponsored by B & S Kites. Spectators from all over North America come to see the spectacular colors in the sky. Sport kite teams, pairs, individuals keep the demo field active with entertainment. There is a teaching field for those who want to learn to fly. iQuad will be demonstrating their skills throughout the festival. There are flying areas for the large single-line kites, medium, and small kites too. The banquet and auction are on Saturday evening.

Cali and I emailed Bill and Susie to sign up for the Rev clinic. I hope we made the cut and got in.

Just to let everyone know I have reworked my camera rig. I have some more parts that should be here next week. I hope to get some pictures of the clinic and kit fest that I have not before.

We are looking forward to seeing all our friends and fine folks at the SPI kite fest.

Called Bill&Susie they did not get our e-mails. We are now on the rev clinic list, cool.

Got one part in today, will work on it next week to see if I can get it to work like I want. Waiting on 2 more parts. Only have one week to get all this camera stuff working. This is going to be fun. I need this to do this kite fest big time.
