OK, Does make the tent a bit heavy though, I presume....

Tis a sheltered life you lead Felix, tent safes are lightweight affairs designed to replicate a Lidl or Aldi carrier bag, what self respecting Northern person looks in those?

No I need the safe built in before I leave, I came away from the North with quite a lot more than I went with, they might have noticed and attempt recovery.

I have sheltered on the kiting circuit for 20+ years. Are you trying to tell me something???

You are quite right! The other thing that we see is people insisting on driving their cars up to the flying field edge and hoping that the organisers will not ask them to remove them.

I have sympathies for the *huge* SLK inflatables where a solid anchor is needed. Some festivals do indeed provide anchor points.
However, for the main arena, there is typically one prime viewing zone - directly upwind of the 'performers' and it would seem fair this be mandated as a tent-free zone. The only logistical issue is knowing months in advance which way the wind will blow on festival days!

Well folks
been to Decathlon today for another wind interupter for Daz Larsen
they are still £29.95 but only had grey coloured ones in stock (still showing £79 on the net)
even after I took one for Daz there was still about 8 left
we will soon have enough of these to build a wall around the arena at Portsmouth lol

you wasn't supposed to tell everyone,we will have to get the IROS (international register of obstructive shelters)together to sort this problem out.But the price of £30,you can't go wrong, and they dont just have to be used at festivals.

Kev has just purchased EIGHT...lol
From Stockport Branch
Six Std base models at £29 ,,,,Great call Bazz
And,
Two Full Base models at £65..This model has four opening doors. Two of them open and connect to the small pop ups[2second tents] .The other DOORS open like the std models DOORS.The price should be £129.The prices do vary from store to store and arent always advertised on the Interweb,so make the call before traveling. Its more exspensive at Nottingham to purchase ther, than Stockport branch on this model,so worth findout in advance.
Which now means. We can accomodate a full Mega Team and offer a variety of Accommadation options or cause enough wind disturbance at a festival. That we create our own Micro Climate to fly in.
We now have,
Eight small pop ups
Ten base models
Two Full Base,,,,WHY,I realy do not know,,,,lol
We have 2 weeks free in July[red month] and all August and september[blue months]can be reserved.
BRIAN...
