Hi Guys-

Here's a few... including the stack. Carolyn, it pulls a ton!! .... and the way it's set up and flown, there's little, if no brake at all! YIKES is all I can say; when you're used to those brakes! lol, BUT, for a moment, it's a lot of fun- until you're arms become 6" longer in a moment's time!

IMG_2488s.jpg Kent's beautiful Rainbow stack....

IMG_2494s.jpg Look close. Alex is hanging off the handles as Kent is flying his stack; very cool indeed!!!
IMG_2474s.jpg hmmmmmmm....Posted Image Steve and Bazzer are flying what????? Posted Image

IMG_2500s.jpg Lolly flying Kent's stack. He was right there just in case she needed a "quick assist", but she did great!!

IMG_2526s.jpg My newest little friend, and boy is she a cutie! ... hi Alex...Posted Image

IMG_2518s.jpg Mike Kory, me, Jeff, (I think) and Rich planted up against the railing of the Huntington Pier. Check out my lines as I shot the photo!!! lol

Hello All-

Sunday was quite a memorable day..... a beautiful family (The Lummas Family) of team "Too Much Fun" was out there adding to the wonderful memories.

IMG_2610s.jpg Too Much Fun (including teammate Ron Despojado) doing a demo while Sam had a front row seat!

IMG_2612as.jpg Mark kneeling down to chat with daughter Sammy while flying their demo... very cute!

IMG_2619s.jpg Sammy looking back at the team as they fly.

IMG_2620s.jpg The "zoomed out" version of Sam looking around while the team was in action.

IMG_2644s.jpg Eight year old Ben doing a demo; way to go!

IMG_2649s.jpg Ben in action as John Chilese is behind the Rev shooting photos, too!

IMG_2652s.jpg Here, Dave is talking to the public about Ben's recovery from Ewing's Sarcoma (bone cancer). He is doing very well, thank God! Kites were donated that the spectators could purchase, where all proceeds went to a fund for this ugly disease. All of us "pro" pilots were out on the field helping sell and then set up and assist the spectators in flying them. It was very cool to have the crowd out on the field that had been roped off all weekend. It became a very special mass ascension!

IMG_2655s.jpg Ben, with the kites in the background....

IMG_2660s.jpg We had dinner at Rudy's ... or is it Ruby's? lol Posted Image on the end of the pier. This is the view as I walked down there. I'd guess the pier is easily a half mile long.

IMG_2661s.jpg Another view from the pier as I made my way to the end. What a fitting end to a great weekend.

ONE last photo of iQuad, featuring "Mr. Sexy Legs" himself!!! Very cool, Monkey!! The stake holder is a very cool detail.

When I have a bit more time, I'll post the rest for you all to enjoy. There are many candid shots at dinner, the auction, and all through the weekend.

IMG_2605s.jpg

I truly had a wonderful time.

-- Tom (Jeepster), thanks for helping me decide to go.

-- Mike Kory, I sooooo enjoyed flying with you; you are so much fun on the line! Where do you get all of that energy from? When you watch Mike in action, he's either dancing, jumping or even sitting down and bouncing back up!

IMG_2548s.jpg

-- Jim and Lynn, you both are great, plain and simple!

-- Scott and Rich, what can I say? We always have a blast when we're together!

-- and you iQuad dudes (and dudette Posted Image ) I soooooo enjoy flying with you all. It seems to get better EVERY time we're out there. I'm thinking those 75' lines made it more fun!! Tooooooooo cool. See you guys next month. Posted Image

I'd love to mention everyone that was there and made the weekend that much more, but it would take waaaaaaaaaaaay too long. Just know that you all helped make it what it was! .........and it was awesome!

Hi Guys-

I loaded a few photos in the gallery, including this one; which I have a question about.

So, John Mitchell... aka Rev Historian....

It's certainly cool to see the old Revs flying with the new Pros and Masterpieces. I believe the Rev in the sand is a Rev II. Is the one up high (lime and black) a Rev I? ... just not sure what it is!

Thanks...

As both the REV I and REV II were made in the identical yellow/black color scheme, it is difficult to say from this angle.
The billow of the sail seems to indicate a REV I.

Hi Monkey-

Very cool!!! Where was I? Posted Image I have a "brand new" used one that I haven't flown, yet. I think it's a circa 1990 or so (I think that's what I was told).
