One of the things that I have noticed most about flying Rev Team around the world over the last few years is that there are quite a few moves that we all fly. The real challenge is that we all call them something different and describe the in different ways.

So my question to all you team pilots out there is this.

Is it possible to have an international standard for basic team moves and calling?

I think for the most part we're still following your example with respect to naming things. The only moves with non standard names are ones we've since come up with. But, ya, I agree entirely, it's a great idea and makes the combining of multiple teams into a mega team that much easier. Now, what will we do with the French.

When Hathaway and I brought Rev team back to the USA from Berck last year, we tried to keep as many of the international calls as we could remember, even to the point of pronouncing BIG BALL more like BEEG BOOOL... Well, almost.

I cross train my fliers with counter/anti clockwise... Nowadays, I usually say Pinwheel, Anti, 90! or something similar, very short, but set to a cadence that can be followed after a couple run throughs.

Hi Stephen !!!

Great to see that you notice the same thing.Even in france when we flew for fun with team flic they have a complitly different name figure except for the most popular (ball , slow burst) It should be interesting to make something like a rule book with the name "in english" of all different figures. I know you speak french , it s always a pleasure when i hear "horloge 180 anti horaire !!!!"

This evening i 'll see Fabrice & Ronan to fixe bridle and also stand of . We made very vented revolution with 5 frames (moustiquaire, 5 bandes de chaque coté) on each side . veryGOOD looking !!!!!!

Whilst on the subject of name calling, what do you call the pilot who falls out of the sky when you're half way through Leader's Benefit?
