I'm normally the ba humbug type. Leave me alone, I wanna just fly for the day. Or be grumpy. What ever worked at the time.
For the first time in 8 years I woke in a good mood, stayed up and helped the kids play with their loot and generally had a wonderful day.
I'm actually looking forward to next christmas now.
Family really is great if you don't take it for granted.

It's cold out but the flight bug would not shut up... we tested the kites in the snow.. the colored sharpie RSN appears to be holding its own in water/snow (did a test on some scrape first). This is not my recommendation for kite art but it worked for a last minute Christmas idea, the tetris design will probably be tried on different material and with different paints and dies this winter and spring..

and of course the red and gold Rev 1.5 would not be left at home

No zen under my tree either, but there is one coming in a month or so.
The name of the books author rings a bell to me. If you see a kite train of geishas, then I have probably run across him.

Hi Guys.... (and gals)

Great stuff; glad to hear that everyone is happy and content.

For me, the best gift is being physically healthy enough to fly quite often; including in the snow Posted Image. Sure there are a few Rev goodies, too, but the biggest highlght was spending time with the family and watching the little ones get so excited over what Santa gave them!
.... that is the true magic of it all.

I got the full list of Xmas goodies over at my blog, but the highlight was the Lilliput 7" USB monitor. It's a nifty little thing and I'm going to add a second one as well. Great for displaying my Skype window, notes, Winamp - and when I'm using all 3 monitors for Flight Simulator I can use the Lilliputs for displaying airport & navigation charts. Very cool. Last thing on my list I expected to get!

Was hoping for a Tauntaun sleeping bag but my mom said they were all sold out when she tried to order Posted Image

It is probably the Geisha train I made, which is still in Europe.
I ordered the book yesterday and it is already in the post.

But wait, there's more!

Laurel decided to spend the Chanukah and Christmas money from her Grandparents on a B series Night to match ours. Spoke with Kent yesterday, and (with some added funds from her parents) another kite is on it's way to Tennessee. Won't the Koenig family team look cool at TI?!?
