I must admit, no kite stuff for me this year, kinda lean on the funds. I did however get a new wireless mouse so I could browse the forums easier!

I got the best present ever..........my family together......Oh and some nice socks from my daughter.Only wish santa "Ben" clause would send me a nice new set of jb pros,any colour PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.

Our 18 year old is soon to fly the coop so this year was all about how many gifts my wife could find for him to open (more for her than him). the budget dictated that the gifts were thrift store board games and t-shirts with witty sayings... his favorite shirt says "I am just one big freaking ray of sunshine aren't I"
in the picture the rev is mine... and the junebug inspired one on the right I made for my son... his g-friend conceived the pattern derived from his favorite game tetris and my wife painted the sail...
my wife made me deer and badger hair art brushes, her present is getting to watch us open lots of presents, forcing me to watch movies, getting to take her boy shopping and really good winter boots (honest, that's what she really wants?!?!?! I tried?!?!)
the real joy is in how we made Christmas not just purchased it... made it with our hands but also made it by playing some board games and giving time to each other.
Oh yeah... I treated my self to 2.5# of fresh green Jamaican Blue coffee, now I just have to work up the courage to roast $30 a pound coffee... 8 oz at a time

my main roaster is SC/TO and I typically roast 12oz... but this bean I want to take my time with

Besides my white Zen?
From my 3 kids... A Garmin GPS so I can locate the fests! ...and an antique tree stand ...and for them, in February, we (four) will vacation in Puerto Rico and visit John and Elaine.

Somehow I got passed by on the Santa Run nut who cares, I have a wife and son who love me unconditionally:blue-love: and though they make fun of (CONSTANTLY) all my kiting talk, etc.
still let me run around the country carrying and flying my kites wherever I go! Hard to beat that.
Did get a couple of materialistic items related to kiting but given the above, the material gifts pale in comparison!!!!!!
