I tried to persuade them to fly dual line kites but the change was too much of a wrench!

Hey Ben...
Are you concerned about their handle grip being a little stiff?
Also, even though it looks like there might be a little spring in their step and that they seem to groove individually, iQuad can run circles around them with their smoooooooooothness!!
