The descriptions says it all. These officers were gunned down in a coffee shop in Parkland, Wa (suburb of Tacoma) while doing paperwork and reports. They were all parents and spouses, doing nothing more than the job that they had to support their families. My prayers go out to them, and all that witnessed this incident. Many lives have been traumatized.

I am sorry if this is off-track, but it is the sad truth!

Makes me feel comefortable that I live in a Country with fairly draconian gun law. Although shootings do happen here and it is not too difficult for undesireables to purchase firearms.
I am a shooter myself, and support the right for licensed folks to be able to have access to firearms. In general it is not the "good" folks of society who use firearms for offence.
My thoughts for Today are with the Familes of all affected by this incident.
Hope my comments can not be construed as going against the request for this thread.

This happens on the heels of another "targeted" or "ambushed" shooting of 2 officers, here in Seattle. I am a long time supporter of the NLEOMF (National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund), good cause if you can spare a few bucks! Please note! Keep this topic non political, and non confrontational. My intention is for expressions of support and grief, nothing more.

When wearing a uniform, it puts a target on you.
Its been strange in my area for a few weeks.
A homicide/suicide 2 blocks from my home 2 weeks ago in a nice neighborhood.
Then last night a lady was shot by her boyfriend as she worked in greatclips.
I walk by that location to do my shopping at lunch or on the way home.
The lady killed, was a friend of a friend.
I could go on about gun ownership ( the good and bad), but that is for another forum, another day.
My thoughts and prayers to the familys.
