As I said, I'm just bringing it to the attention of those to make the decision as to what action to take.

Based on convo that I've heard, just thought that I should let someone know. I don't know a lot of people yet, so I'm not really sure to to send info to.

I'm not trying to stir up the hornets nest, or get anyone to go after this seller. But I did think that someone should know, as he DOES quote it as being a specific model of Rev that it was made after, even if he states "Rev Like"

I found his listings on e-bay, and I must apologize for the things I said. This person is selling many real revs and a couple of other manufacturers' kites in addition to his home-made. I hope that no matter what situation has caused him to sell all these, he has the presence of mind to hang on to couple unless he's giving up kiting forever. That would be shame, losing a fellow kiter.

I wish he had been selling these in April or May when I had some money to play with, would have bid on two three or more.

I just read a post here from Singapore moments ago regarding Rev imitations. It disappeared! Just wanted to say that those imitations are not as well made, nor do they fly as well as the original, but they have the gall to price them in the same range. Here's a listing I found on e-bay.

Except for no logo, this seems to be a very obvious infringement of copyright, if not both copyright and patent.

While it was posted with sincere intent, links to offending copies are indeed prohibited on this forum.

Again, thanks for the act of support but Rev does not wish to further promote such trademark infringements by giving a link.

Instead, we encourage such reports be sent to Ben and myself directly.
