,Would be great to get a gathering together again.Regardless of wher it happens.A Rev winter gathering would break up the dark winter nights.Give us sumat to look forward to.Try and get that Mega Team Record Back[if it was realy taken].Now that would be a plan or even a practice before the main event that Felix is Planning .

Lets get this weekend out the way.Have a think first.A yearly event[woops none event]or trip will do us all good.

Talk soon then fellas
BRIAN...

Ummm! Did I miss something? <grins>

I would not admit to 'planning' an event. I am hoping that others have it in hand and will announce their intentions soon...
so that everyone will be able to plan accordingly.

Berck is from 10th - 18th April 2010, Cervia from 23rd April - 2nd May 2010 so maybe American and Japanese parties would consider attending both events?

Maybe this should be in another thread?

Felix

One thing I can not brag about is depth perception. Takes me ages to land my Rev on top of my Land rover. Tried to land it on the top of a post one Day. Was getting dark and I still hadnt got it.

But yes folks, get em checked.

My mates recon my eyesight must be pretty good if I can see through the glasses I wear.

I cant afford reactolite glasses that dim in the Sun so thought the dust would do the same for me. Suppose it is time I gave them a wipe now the evenings are drawing in. :)

- For Flying in or with the The Flying Squad

Saturday too much Sun, not much wind

Sunday AM we flew awesome routines, to much applause from our invited guests (possibly out toughest audience as they know what we are doing  )

Sunday PM again some tough wind or holes to fly in  .

Some great guest from as far as Australia & New Zealand, Israel, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France Netherlands, Scotland, Wales and even Devon.

The Groen Squad, did a great routine with Janneke Groen's Sode kites (single line Kimono Kites) - / \ & dice... Then a weave

Good to see Choccy & Groz, and they have found a new way to be able to fly at crowded festivals - 20 foot pairs flying - Thanks for making the day trip.

We had a great time at the weekend in Margate. We had the sun on Saturday and the wind on Sunday so on average it was a perfect weekend.

It was nice to see some familiar faces but there were fewer Rev fliers there than we had hoped for.

I would like to say a big thank you to the organisers and to our guest fliers who did a superb job for us this weekend. We were lucky enough to be joined this weekend by Dave Ellison (The Decorators), Lee Baxter (Wind Magic) and Martin Linford (CrossLines)

There are some pictures of the event here
