Don't we have a Rev Masterpiece Artist that made a kite this past year that shoud deserve this nomination???

From the AKA: The Selection Committee for the Lee Toy Award is extending the due date for nomination submissions to Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Any nomination received by midnight, eastern, September 16 will be included for consideration.

If you know a deserving AKA Member you think should be awarded Kite Artist of the Year, please write a couple of paragraphs about why you think they should get the award, and send it along by replying to this e-mail. Include the names of two AKA Members who second the nomination.

I only have Bazzer Masterpieces from this time period - Eyes and Old Glory. Anybody else want to nominate???

Jim, thanks for bringing this up on the forum.
We are often puzzled at who wins the awards.

You made me think, and I will be nominating Randy Tom for the Lee Toy award.

He has been in kiting in a number of areas since kiting began.
He changed the face of kids kites.
The artistry shown on Revolution Masterpiece kites is awesome.

His years of dedication to the sport and kite community is without question.
Randy Tom is a wonderful person inside and out.

Can someone second the nomination for me ?
Also, the new Randy Tom Masterpieces are under way.

Thaks everyone, have a great flying weekend.

May I suggest we wait until next year, when AKA will be at Seaside and Bazzer would be present to receive?

I would be more than happy to second Randy Tom. How do I go about doing so?

They are both very deserving candidates, and I agree with John that it would be great for Bazzer if he got it when the convention is in his backyard!!

Just my 2 cents!
