Hi,
I'm really having a problem deciding which rev to get. Should I get the Blast or the 1.5? Please help me and also please explain the reason(s) you picked one rev over the other.

Depends on what you want to do? Personally, the 1.5 is a better all round kite, fun to play with, but you can go on to do more technical tricks as your skill level progresses. The blast is more for traction, but is a hoot to throw around the sky
No problems getting it up - It's using it properly that's the problem!

There ya go. The only reason to get a Blast is if you want to get pulled. 
1.5 it is.

The new vented blast is the most fun Rev I've ever flown handles the race frame without flapping like a bird and being that its vented it takes a ton of pull out but still keeps a full firm sail.
Flown it as far down as 2-10 mph with the race frame and up to 25 mph so far with the sle leading edge, Great kite but I would suggest getting the basics down with a standard B-Series first off.
