Good first post, congrats on getting your first Rev, your flying has taken on a whole new direction now.
Get Quad Kit to write you some notes on how to make your collection grow. Put a picture of your girl in your kite bag and hit the flying field. I know you'll enjoy whatever you get, good flying to you, Dave

I THINK that is right. Of course you could ask for ALL the spars.

Of course, the idea is that having both kites will give you ideal equipment for ANY wind conditions.

Last time I posted to you I said I had ordered a SUL and would let you know. Well I have 4 long days of flying it under the belt now and can say it was a great purchase. It is so much fun to fly on days I would have gone home. I feel like I am cheating the wind gods when that thing takes off and does tricks. After reading the other post I would think one advantage to the SUL is fly right out of the bag getting no special or cut down spars.
I guess I as you would also have the options of trading spars leading edges etc with the 1.5. I found that there was plenty of overlap in the performance of the two kites and no need to do that. I will probably try it later because I can. Be sure to post your decision. I am sure you will like what ever you get.

Here is what I have decided to do:
- I called Rev to order a Rev 2. The Rev 2 that I ordered will come with a 2-wrap leading edge and with 2-wrap vertical spars. I also ordered the 3-wrap leading edge for it.
- This Thursday or Friday I will purchase a Rev 1.5 Baressi series from my local kite store. (non-vented version)
- I will not order a Blast at this time. I need to fly one first.
It turned into...purchasing two more Rev kites.
Nineteen more and I can tie our friend with that holds the "22 Rev record."

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am very excited to try the Baressi Rev with the SUL spars. I pick the Baressi up this week!!!

Jex,
Good first post, congrats on getting your first Rev, your flying has taken on a whole new direction now.As has been said there is a Rev for every occasion and for every mood the flyer is in. Here is my two cents for your consideration. You like your 1.5, consider a B Series vented, you can use the UL or SUL frame in your 1.5 for low winds, and when you get that 5 mph or so wind I think you might love the vented, very sweet precision flyer. I would also suggest as an earlier post, if you are interested in the Blast, fly before you buy. It's a great REV but maybe not the second in your bag, good power kite, and all around flyer. Now if you like speed, and quickness there are Revs for that, try a Supersonic. Supersonic makes my leading edge rattle
It could be described as flying a guided missle and yes it will trick it's way right into your heart, awesome axles, mach one slides that will make a crowd of seagulls applaud.
Get Quad Kit to write you some notes on how to make your collection grow. Put a picture of your girl in your kite bag and hit the flying field. I know you'll enjoy whatever you get, good flying to you, Dave
Thank you for your input. That Supersonic sounds fun!!!

Wow, just as I thought, you got me beat!Okay... Serious count?
snip...
That's 50, if my math is right... 54 once my blue fade B-Series arrive.![]()
Surely I'm forgetting some, but you get the idea!
I have had 64(73), but only have 45 now of which 3 are on more or less permanent loan.
So that puts me at 42.
Details with photos are on my web site.
