Local Big! Lots store had a pile of Igloo "Fridge Pack" soft-sided coolers for $8 each. They're designed to hold one of those oblong 12-can "fridge packs" now popular among beverage manufacturers.

Nice, but probably not a great cooler (because there's no room for ice or chill packs). However, it makes an awesome protective case for small single line kites....anything up to 16" in length. Bought one to hold my Shanti Cubes, Prism Triads (in plastic tubes), mini-Roks, hatas, etc.

It has a zippered top, velcro end flap, and a velcro stash pocket on the other end as well as a shoulder strap.

Last week I was in a Big! Lots store that featured a bunch of stuff from some drugstore chain liquidation and among the merchandise were a couple of 18" mini-sled kites. Originally $4.99 each, they were marked down to a dollar.

MINE!!!! :P

Nice find! I need to find a local shop. There use to be a kite shop, but they closed (the owner got sick, so they only do online business.)

No local shop here, either. Closest one is Kites Flyin' High in Charleston or Klig's at Myrtle Beach and they now only have have 2 locations down from 4. All are 100 miles away.

I used to like going to S&P Kites in Charlotte but they went out of business. :(

Nice kites for 10 at Costco. I'd try 120' lines, but I would need to find a place to try them. Some people are so lucky to have a beach nearby. I've been using 75' lines cause I fly at a local little leauge field, until that set got tangled up, I switched to my 85' set and could not believe how different an extra 10' is. If I were good enough to try out for IQuad, I'd make a set, just for Wildwood.

I was a little bummed that my new "Sale" Rev Bag did not have a pocket that my handles would fit in.
