I wish I had a picture of the lines but I was laying out my lines and just as I reached my stake my 2 year old realizing that I left the end of my lines down by my kite; grabs them and brings them back to me. The worst part is when my son gets tangled in the lines he starts doing this two legged kicking dance (I need to get video of this). Well needless to say it took me about 30 minutes to get the lines untangled, during that time I couldn't help but laugh.

Hope you enjoyed the story.

I'm glad I don't have any kids because one of us wouldn't survive the other! I guess it is cute when they are someone else's though! Need to see that video...

At first he got real frustrated that I insisted on holding the handles with him. But I soon realized that a rev exp just falls when you let go of the lines. I let him hold the handles himself and of course he wasn't strong enough, after couple of crash we now fly together. Now I am not a great flyer (not even an amateur yet) but I am impressed and love the fact that I can fly sitting indian style with my son in my lap, sharing control of the kite.

Bart, I thought that when I was without a child but now that I have a child I have a new perspective on life. I am calmer cooler and more relaxed than ever, I guess I gained perspective. Having a son though I will admit that we view the world pretty much the same. We both like kites, fast cars, and bringing daddy beers.

I will admit though that there are moments, did you know that a 4 oz cup cannot hold an entire gallon of milk? Well my son didn't until he tried it. :)

lol.. I can just see it .. * here Daddy!*.

When Connor first started flying.. he got into a pretty big mess when he left his stake somewhere.. crashed the kite.. and dragged the entire mess back to the stake... umm by the time he got back with it, it was in a huge nasty ball.... I was trying not to break a blood vessel...when another competitors dog came up and peed on the entire tangle... At that point I gave up lol..... those lines were doomed!

Great story. Kids do the funniest things!

It is worth all the trouble to spend time with them too, they just grow up so fast. Stop being cute and start being cunning. Evil even! I should know, my son's 14. He was such a lovely kid and now he's gone all angsty and grumpy and bored and ... yeah.

My daughter tried this with Cranberry Juice. That didn't fit either.

too funny..... this happened with my 3 year old daughter, lucky she doesn't know the two legged kick dance, so the lines were not too bad.
