Alright gang, I just booked a couple more tickets for Wildwood... It looks like iQuad WILL be there, but we'd still like to gather up a "B" team to fly with us at the event.

I can pretty safely say these guys will be involved:

YEA BABY WOO HOO !!!!!!!!!!! now im really stoked both ben and john in my neighborhood well i hope i can keep up to 2 great fliers like that i dont have a rev b but i do have revs to fly john i cant wait to meet you and hopefully we can fly alot that weekend i will have alot of diffrent kites that weekend but if i can i can change that and just bring my revs and lomax im really stoked and cant wait to fly with everyone here that is going im getting all gitty now man this is going to be a great festival bring it on im ready i will have my masterpiece by my side you guys are welcome to fly it the bad news is that i never did a team fly before s im a little nervous about that

I was realy pleased to meet John, nowhere near good enough to fly iQuad myself.

Actually, you'll find that your skill will grow A LOT after a couple days of team flying.

The team thing is a very patient process, and we work to make everyone comfortable.

yea man thats what im talking about ive been flying but not as much as want to i got so much going on... going to go out on sunday and hopefully with a sunny 70 degree day ill be able to get some more flying done

I know of a couple in Avalon, which is not too far from Wildwood. The Ponderosa, and the Avalon camp ground. They are on route 9, we stayed at both already and they are nice. There are also more than the 2 that I mentioned. Any campground in the area will require a 3 day minimum stay, unless you call a week before and they have any vacancies. That is what we were going to do, but I contacted Beatrix, I found her e-mail on the AKA calander, under the WIKF, and we were able to book a room at the Oceanic for the 3 days, and it is right there. Hope this helps, and am looking forward to meeting some other kiters. I am so alone, as far as kites, in Mechanicsburg. Pa.

there are 3 that i know of (LAKE LAURIE)(HOLLY BEACH)(BEACHCOMBER) i dont know about their rates but they all are trailer campgounds near my home and wildwood

I need a good hotel near the kite flying (I hate to drive in places I don't know well). Got any ideas Ant?

all the ones that are near the spot are pretty pricy because of it being a holliday weekend .. there are a few near the beach that are good .. the rivera motel and the sea and sun are 2 good ones try them but keep in mind i dont know the rates for that weekend

We got into a 1 bed room at the Super 8 for $109 per night, cheapest we could find.

109 is cheap. I put up 170 last year in OC.

We and 1 bed room, these two ideas should not be used in the same sentence--doesn't sound very cool for 4 iQuad members to share a 1 bed room.
