From Ben:

Hello Family this is a kite for the ages and more importantly the money raised by this kite will be used to keep one of the oldest running kite festivals in the world running.

Last week I got an email and was informed there was a chance that Bristol was not going to happen and this sadden me greatly after last years Revolution birthday that we celebrated there and how many great people came out to be with us, so after careful consideration me and a few of my friends mainly Bazzer and team iQuad said we have got to help.

So here we are, a Bazzer B-Series pro mid vent done in all white with the Bristol logo even and this is a one of one never to be done again and all the money raised will go as a donation to Avril Baker for the Bristol kite festival and it's from all of you so I'm asking the Family to be a part of this and to do what you can.

Bristol_rescue.jpg

We will be selling fifty tickets at $20.00 US (each) which gives us $1000.00 for support of the Bristol Kite Festival and to be honest, if things work correctly, we will try to come up with other tickets for other kites in the future in hopes of putting together a few thousand dollars for this event.

For this raffle, you'll be able to choose your own ticket numbers as well!

I know times are tough but that's why Avril and Bristol need our help.....

Thank You All, Ben Dantonio

==

IMPORTANT:

Immediately before or after purchasing your ticket(s) via PayPal, post back here with your raffle ticket # selection(s).

Available numbers are listed in the next post (taken numbers are marked otherwise).

This drawing will actually be done in the Rev office (probably by Ben with help from one of their employees who don't know any of us).

I wondered that!

Presumably the random number thing cannot be 'fixed'?

Ben just said I am able to buy a ticket, thinking about it.

It could be fixed in theory, wherein whoever does the drawing just reports a different number of their choosing.

But it's simply not something that would be done... Whether it's from a business or personal standpoint, it actually does good for everyone when an "unknown" or "regular joe" wins a prize like this, so there's no benefit for Rev or I that would move us to fix a drawing.

I know there's no accusation on the table at all, just addressing your question directly. ;)

Don't see why not but do you need any more Revs? I'm only in 'cos it's a good cause. -_-

'tis a thing of beauty though.
