This is a great festival we were lucky enough to go to last year. In addition to The Flying Squad there will also be Bolau & Imagina from Spain and Quad PT from Portugal. It should be a real Rev Fest. I can't wait to see the guys from Portugal again as they are great fun and so enthusiastic. Hopefully we should be able to post a few pictures on our return.
Some pictures from last year can be foundhere

For me yesterday was terrible too. Got up about 6, browsed the forum, blue skys, off to work, had to drive some folks round the off road track in a brand new Range Rover, windows up, aircon on, parked up watched the telly for a bit. Had to do it all over again in the afternoon. Stopped off to fly for an hour on the way home, fish and chip supper, sat down to watch the talent thing with my wife and a pot of popcorn. Couple of bottles of Piddle in the Puddle. Life is hard. Oh and a UK keybrod.
Today, get up about 6, browsing the forum, blue skys, got to go drive that Range Rover around again.
Life is hard is'nt it?

We had a great time at this year's festival! Saturday was great, on Sunday there was no wind, but still one of the best festivals I've been to (not that many I admit...)
I am still processing my pictures, but found these ones already:

For some members it’s always beer O’clockAnd none of The Flying Squad in the sky
- must have been Beer O'Clock...
However it turns out that there is a perfectly rational scientific explanation for this, it is based on Einstein's famous Relativity Theory.
It works like this:
It is a well-known fact that the more you drink, the faster you move. After about eight beers you are moving at close to the speed of light, and this is where Einstein enters the picture. According to his Relativity Theory, any body moving at, or close to the speed of light, undergoes Time Dilation, i.e. time for you in the beer tent passes slower than for an observer outside the beer tent.
Complicated calculations have shown that the beer tent becomes a type of time machine: - for every half-hour spent inside the beer tent, something like two hours pass outside the beer tent. A typical situation is:
"OK guys, it's lunch time, I'm gonna surprise the rest of the team and get back early!!" However, the moment this person steps outside the beer tent, the time travel effect is negated by negative radiation from the environment, and he/she then goes: "WTF??!!?? - why is it so quiet?? Holy shit!!! It is late!! WHAT HAPPENED???!!??" .....and the answer, of course, is Time Dilation!!
I have tried to explain this to outside observers, but so far, nobody (except fellow time travellers) has been able or willing to understand the sound scientific basis of this phenomenon...
It's Good to Share the Joy.
