Tom, great shots.
I'm going to have to stop by that canyon the next time I drive out to California. But you've already got the photo of kite there so maybe if I fly a stack? With a little pull that could get pretty exciting...
With your progressive stack, that should be no problem! I'm sure you've stopped at the Torrey Pines Gliderport in/near San Diego. People step off the edge of that cliff with kites all the time.
Just be sure to get a complete set of pictures during your descent ... probably without the sound would be best!
Speaking of Torrey Pines ... maybe a picture there would be in order ... especially with Ben's new camera lens. That special beach IS still open isn't it?
Cheers,
Tom

I thought I uploaded the new photos to my album, but something clearly failed. Anyway, here's my new Rev Pro at Stonehenge

My parents live just down the road from this one, so while we were in the neigborhood we couldn't resist a quick photo-op.
How Cool!!!

I flew with Rich (quaa714) in Naperville on Sunday and then ran into him while he was flying at Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park. He was nice enough to let my daughter (and me) fly his kite.
Rich entertained everyone walking by and gave lessons to several people. All of this with a Gomberg Rev on concrete. The best was 15 minutes entertaining a school group of 5 year olds.
Rich is an unbelievable good-will ambassador for Revolution and kite-fliers.
Edit: Fortunately, the kids had a good photographer with them and he posted to Picasa. I've updated the photos.
