Well family here I go again for another weekend out ,on the 10th I'll be at the Yucca Valley event and on the 11th I'll be at Redondo Beach event and they are both in Ca. so I'll have lots of stuff for you to try if you want, so family come fly with me and enjoy the day................Ben

Actually I do love where I live, however wish there were more people up here interested in kiting. (Hell!, if I could find even ONE, I would be happy)
Kiting up here in Toronto is about as popular as skydiving WITHOUT a parachute - NOT very popular!
I have been actively looking for people to fly with, posting ads in local publications and even the TFK forum, with no response in 8 months.
That been said, I still persue my passion and it's thanks to guys like yourself, and this forum, that have kept and continue to inspire me.

striker the same here too there are a few people wildwood used to be a kite town years ago i wonder what happened

Well, it's not California, but hope you'll join us at the AKA convention in Ocean Shores, WA this October...we'll be doing a LOT of quad flying there!

the bride and I spent four days at Ocean City last year and the wind never dropped below about 28 during the day or night. Even the locals were surprised it just never let up the whole darn time.
Look for the WOW signs and come over for a "group fly with our quad-heads", introduce yourselves and make some new kiting friends in OC!!!
