I have doubled up the lights and 40 leds can be powered by one battery pack, obviously the batterys will not last so long.
Some pics at the link below and also some from last years Light up the Sky event where he also flew an illuminated Rev1.

I have been night flying with the Skunk, on his Rev 1 he uses 3 or 4 strings of 20 ultra bright leds. Each string of lights are powered by 2 AA batterys.

WOW! Those are incredible pictures. You bring such a different aspect to looking at the kites. I almost forgot I wanted to see the rev lit up at night. That was good stuff too but if anyone else goes to your pages.. Look at everything. Very impressive pages.

How far south are you going in 10 days? If you are planning to make it to Fla. let me know. We can fly. I am sure I could learn a few things too.

3 in 1 ring light and strobe. Held on by velcro, available at the checkout section in wally mart (I checked because they only had nine of them and they confirmed that they were stocked only at checkout.
I tried them last night but there wasn't enough wind on my property and I didn't want to drive up the street to the open field to try...
I picked up some tonight and let me tell you that they are hilarious when attached to Stella's tail when she is chasing a ball in the dark!

I'm sitting on about 150 of the finger lights... $1 each, minimum of six, plus Priority Mail shipping.
Any chance of seeing them so I can decide if I even want those or the others mentioned?
Thanks, Jim
