The design on the sail is not sewn. It is a polyester material, like Icarex, which goes through a special process of dyeing or something like that. This process was done by two brothers in Valencia, Spain for Team FLIC.
Enjoy,
John

They use a special machine that costs about 70,000 Euros, roughly $90,000.cool, I wonder how they actually did it.
Their web site is at www.esste.com. It lists their contact email address.
Their names are: Esteban and Pedro Gonzales
They say they can create any design you want on a piece of polyester. I am sure it would not be cheap.
Pedro's English is superb. Esteban's English is passable.

I will be adding in the Berck, France Kite Festival 2006 this week and maybe the Cervia, Italy Kite Festival 2006.
The year 2005 is complete. For 2007 I have the San Diego New Years kite festival and KP5 completed.
For 2004 and earlier, I will get around to them someday as time permits.
